Shreyas Iyer and Axar Patel hit fifties to put India in a strong position in the chase of 272 against Bangladesh. However, both were dismissed in quick succession, putting Bangladesh back in control. Iyer was dismissed on 82 by Mehidy Hasan Miraz, before Ebadot Hossain got the better of Axar (56). Both openers, Virat Kohli and Shikhar Dhawan, were inside the first three overs, putting India on the backfoot. Shakib Al Hasan then put India three down, dismissing Washington Sundar.
