PRE-MATRIC, POST-MATRIC AND MERIT-CUM-MEANS ANNOUNCEMENT OF MINORITY SCHOLARSHIP 2022-23 CHECK HERE 

SCHLORSHIP: Ministry of Minority Affairs implements threecluster-university-srinagar-date-extension-notice-for-selection-notification-session2022-31-ug-honors-programmes-check-here Scholarship Schemes viz. Pre-Matric, Post Matric and Merit-cum- Means based Scholarship Schemes for the Minorities as Central Sector Schemes through National Scholarship Portal (NSP) of the Government of India and the Students can apply under these schemes through URL www.scholarships.gov.in. or through the link available on www.minorityaffairs.gov.in.

Scholarships are awarded under these Schemes to the economically weaker and meritorious students from the six centrally notified minority communities viz. Buddhist, Christian, Jain Muslim, Sikh, and Zoroastrian (Parsi) pursuing studies in India in a Government or recognized private university/institute/college/school.

Pre-Matric Scholarship

Opening of Portal : 20th July, 2022

Last date for application submission : 30th September, 2022

Last date for INO level verification : 16th October, 2022

Last date for DNO level verification : 31st October, 2022

Post-Matric Scholarship, Merit-cum-Means based Scholarship Important Dates: 

Opening of Portal :  20th July, 2022

Last date for application submission :   31st October, 2022

Last date for INO level verification : 15th November, 2022

Last date for DNO level verification : 30th November, 2022

Eligibility:

The applicant should be the student of the notified minority communities (Jain, Buddhist, Sikh, Zoroastrian (Parsis) Muslim and Christian).

The applicant should be pursuing studies in India in Government or recognized Private University/ Institute/College/School.

The course being pursued should be of Minimum one year duration.

Instructions For Applicants:

Applicants are advised to apply online against any one of the scholarship schemes on the website of National Scholarship Portal at-www-scholarships.gov.in (a link to the site is also available at www.minorityaffairs.gov.in) or Mobile App. National Scholarships (NSP).

Detailed ‘Instructions” for filling in online application and “Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs) aren available on the National Scholarship Portal homepage.

For Universities/ Institutes/Colleges/Schools

All Universities/Institutes/Colleges/ Schools having valid AISHE/U-DISE/NCVT/SCVTcodes,located in the State/UT should be advised to register themselves and get their KYC and Aadhaar Demon Authentication done at the earliest.

They should also be advised to get their courses details updated on the NSP at the earliest so that their students can apply and they can verify such applications on the Portal within the timelines. The timelines need to be adhered to strictly.
